The following terms set out the agreement between you and Layla Linen, and your use of our website in anyway means that you are in full acceptance of these terms, including any purchase of merchandise from Layla Linen. If you are not in agreement with any of its provisions, you must not use our website in any way. We will regularly update these terms to reflect Layla Linen’s evolving requirements but the current version will always be available on our website. Your use of the website after terms are updated means that you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
Accessing our website and content
Every user is responsible for his/her own access to the website and will be personally held responsible for compliance/noncompliance with these terms.
We work hard to ensure our website contains accurate information and content, and hold the right to edit/update our website as soon as an error/inaccuracy is highlighted. We may change our content at any time, and restrict access wholly or partly for reasons such as but not limited to website maintenance without any liability on our part.
Our merchandise includes:
Bathing and table linen
Beach towels tote bags
Soft furnishings, and
We aspire to ensure accuracy of merchandise images, descriptions and colour displays. We however, do not warrant that the merchandise descriptions, colours, or other content available on our website are accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free, nor do we make any warranty about the quality of any of the merchandise therein. Merchandise may vary slightly in colour from merchandise images due to your device’s ability to communicate colour. Buyers may therefore not classify a different colour shade as an error/fault.
We reserve the right to correct errors/inaccuracies at any time including after you have placed an order.
On the rare occasions that our suppliers are unable to deliver merchandise to us or where merchandise does not fit our high quality specifications, we reserve the right to remove merchandise or edit merchandise’s content on our website.
Under exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right (at our sole discretion) to refuse to process an order even after sending you an order confirmation. We will not bear liability to you or any third party for withdrawing any product from our website (whether it has been sold or not), removing/editing any material/content on our website, or for refusing to process an order after we have sent you an order confirmation.
By opening an account or placing an order with Layla Linen, you agree to receive communication from us electronically either by email. You agree that all electronic communication will satisfy legal requirements that a communication in writing would.
You must be eighteen years or older to place an order via our website. All details provided to Laylalinen when ordering must be complete and true; and the credit/debit card you use must be your own. We will send you an e-mail order confirmation when you place your order and payment has been processed. You understand that the receipt of an order does not guarantee that merchandise is available, but only represents an offer to purchase. If merchandise is unavailable, we reserve the right to cancel the order prior to dispatch.
When an order results in unacceptably high freight charges, Layla Linen will contact you to request further shipping fees or to cancel the order.
If your order is cancelled for any reason, you will have the options of either having a store credit to your account, or getting a refund to the value of the unavailable/cancelled merchandise.
If merchandise is available and shipping conditions are right, you will receive an email confirming your merchandise is in transit at which time the contract between you and us shall be complete.
If we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, suspect fraudulent activity, or where you do not meet the eligibility criteria according to this agreement, we reserve the right to refuse service. We may also refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion.
Special offers including free shipping
Please note Layla Linen offers a $15 flat rate for shipping in Victoria for orders under $250. We offer a flat rate of $25 Interstate/Nationally for orders under $250. Free Shipping for all orders over $250 Australia Wide. With the exception of the under listed postcodes with unacceptably high freight charges. Should you require us to ship to any of such postcodes, we will contact you to request for further shipping, after which you may choose to go through with the order or cancel it.

Prices and payment
All prices are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST. Such prices are subject to change for reasons including listing error and new stock price increases, and changes are effective immediately upon posting to our website.
Payment can be made via AfterPay, ZipPay, PayPal Express and bank deposit or credit card (Visa and MasterCard). To ensure payment security, we never ask for personal information, and do not store any credit card numbers or details on our website.
All payments are processed securely with all our options above.
Delivery and fees
Delivery Fees are set at a $20 flat rate across Australia. Orders above $250 have free shipping with no fees incurred. Exceptions to the rule are stated under ‘Special offers including free shipping’ whereas fees are calculated based on order size, weight and destination. Please refer to the “Special offers including free shipping” section of these terms for further clarification. Delivery fees and times may vary for different merchandise. If your order falls within area outside our delivery you can request a delivery quote and proceed if you accept.
Delivery price will always be displayed prior to payment and order confirmation and included in the total price of your order.
Delivery estimates are calculated at checkout and will be made to the front door of a ground floor dwelling. Requests to have items delivered past this point must be made prior to an order being placed.
Although we will do our best to accommodate your delivery needs, this is dependent on courier availability and so, this service therefore cannot be guaranteed.
Items are delivered within 7 to 10 days of placing an order, but delivery may exceed estimated delivery window for reasons outside our control. We will send you an email once your order has been dispatched, and will as a courtesy also email you if for any reason your delivery is delayed. We do not accept liability for any loss, theft or damage of merchandise once an order is in transit.
Methods and Locations
We partner with several courier companies in order to deliver nationwide. Delivery is made directly by courier to the address provided at checkout, and require a signature upon delivery. Alternatively, a card may be left at your address and you will need to pick up from Australia Post or contact the courier company to arrange re-delivery.
In some locations we will only be able to deliver merchandise in metropolitan areas. When we accommodate delivery to some remote areas, we may hand your delivery to third parties.
For larger high value items, we may offer alternative delivery services at an extra charge, but this feature is not available for all areas. You can email us to confirm if this is available to your order and area.
You agree to pay any shipping and handling charges presented to you at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to refuse delivery to locations we deem to be high risk or that are inaccessible by standard courier services.
We require a contact phone number which may be used by the courier to arrange delivery.
We are unable to accept international delivery.
If an order return occurs as a result of an incorrect delivery address provided by you, you will be billed for additional shipping charges in order to receive your goods.
If goods are still not delivered after 21 days or 2 attempts (whichever is sooner), we reserve the right to cancel your order. Under these circumstances, we will refund the price of your order, less delivery and handling fees.
An order cannot be claimed to be lost in transit if:
The delivery address is incorrect or unclear
The tracking information for the shipment shows it is still in transit
The item was accepted or left at the delivery address according to the instructions supplied by the carrier.
We accept returns if returns are made within 21 days of receipt date and as long as these conditions are met:
You will bear responsibility for all shipping charges, handling and restocking fees involved;
Returned items are new, unused, undamaged, unwashed, and unlaundered; and
Returned items are in their original packaging.
Within 5 business days of receiving your returned order, and subject to confirming it qualifies, we will provide you with a store credit in the amount equal to the price you paid less all attending costs.
Store credit voucher codes will be valid for one (1) year from the date of issue.
Returns are not acceptable in person.
Non-returnable items excluded from all change of mind returns include:
Supplier images are exceptionally accurate through computer screens depending on their capability and that everyone sees colours differently may slightly vary. Also due to the broad colour spectrum we cannot define a single shade of colour as white, ivory, cream and so on due to the complex nature of colour tones and vast colour spectrum. One persons ideal shade of white for example will be different to another. Due to this slight variations of colour are non returnable.
Bedding and pillows
Damages in Transit
If your merchandise is damaged in transit, do not accept delivery and contact us immediately via email. Attach photos or video showing the damage and we will contact you within 48 hours. We will share your feedback with our delivery partners and suppliers to ensure both our service and the quality of packaging is improved. If you are not at your delivery address at time of delivery, please take photos or video showing the damage and contact us as soon as possible via email.
We will work together to find an outcome you are happy with. We may:
Offer a partial or full store credit voucher or refund
Replace the item(s) (subject to availability)
Arrange for the merchandise to be returned to us (we will bear cost of return).
If we do not receive any such email after 3 days of delivery, we will not be liable for replacements or refunds.
Delivery of wrong item
Should you receive an item other than the one you ordered, contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 3 business days of receipt. We will arrange for pickup and return of the incorrectly shipped item and send you the correct item with our apologies.
Faults, Warranty Claims and Customer Rights
Laylalinen warrants all goods to be free of defects in materials and workmanship, and of acceptable quality and durable for the purpose for which they are designed. Warranties and guarantees are provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
If merchandise delivered is missing parts, faulty, or has been damaged during manufacturing, please take photos or videos clearly showing the problem and contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 3 business days of receipt.
We will work together to find a solution you are happy with, depending on the nature of the fault. We may:
Send you missing parts or components
Suggest a self-repair method (with an offer of compensation)
Arrange a repair by a local tradesperson in your area (with an offer of compensation)
Replace the product (subject to availability)
Offer you an alternative product
Offer a partial or full store credit voucher or refund
This Faults and Warranties policy does not cover the following:
Normal wear and tear
Damage arising from improper assembly, modification, abnormal use or abuse
Damage as a result of improper/lack of maintenance
Damage to external or product packaging only
Insignificant minor variations in dimensions, colour, grain or finish
Insignificant minor imperfections or superficial blemishes
Failure to use merchandise in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions
Occasionally some merchandise for sale may be under a separate manufacturer’s warranty. This will always be communicated on the products listing. Under these circumstances you are required to contact the manufacturer directly. However if you are not satisfied with the outcome, contact us for help. We may liaise with the manufacturer for you but our liability will be limited to the refund of your purchase price.
Subject to terms and conditions applicable to ‘ Returns’.
You will receive a store credit or refund in the amount you paid for the product, including shipping if you cancel an order before it is dispatched. Once orders have been shipped, we cannot cancel them.
We do not offer exchanges.
To the extent permitted by law, we, our directors and employees, and affiliated third parties expressly exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity.
We exclude any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss/damage incurred in connection with our website, products or services or with the use or inability to use our website, any linked websites and materials, including without limitation any liability for loss of income, business, profits and anticipated savings, data, and goodwill; wasted management time; and for any other loss/damage of any kind, however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.
This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Without limitation to the foregoing, we acknowledge that laws in certain jurisdictions including Australia may imply warranties and conditions which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified except to a limited extent. If any such laws apply, then to the fullest extent permitted by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, our liability is limited to the replacement or repair of goods, or the supply of equivalent goods; or the payment of the cost of repairing or replacing the goods or supplying equivalent goods.
Without limitation to the foregoing, you agree that in no event shall our maximum aggregate liability exceed the amount paid by you for the products in question.
You agree to indemnify us, our directors, employees and representatives from and against all damages, liabilities or costs (including legal costs) arising from the use of our website, or any other products or services accessed via our website.
Third Party Websites
We may occasionally include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate privacy policies and we bear no liability for their content and activities. You access such sites at your own risk.
Viruses and Hacking
You must not deliberately introduce viruses, Trojans or other malicious/technologically harmful material to our website, and must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, its servers and connected databases.
Whilst we do our best to make sure that our website is virus-free, we will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a virus or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment and programs due to your use of our website.
Layla Linen reserves the right to revise and make necessary changes to this agreement at any time. As these changes are binding to you, it is your responsibility to check this page and take notice of any changes we make.
